My truly lovely bride Teana and her new hubby Gregory designed their cake and it was truly fun to make and stack! That's a BIGGGGG cake! There are three big 12" squares on the bottom, with two 12" hexagonals in the middle, a 12" round and a 6" hex on the very top. It fed nearly 400 and we LOVE making huge cakes! Cakes in this league are still only $2.25/serving while the average size wedding cakes serving 150 to 250 are now $2.50/slice. The couple chose our French Vanilla cake with a hint of lemon and almond and with Bavarian Cream filling. They had ALL of the ballrooms at the Crowne Plaza, and it looked like a sea of beautiful tables. The cakes were embellished with various scrolls highlighted with gold dragees (edible metallic beads) except for the 12" round which had the beautiful quilting design with accents of dragees at every juncture in the quilting.
